What is 3am?

3am is a company of young Christians in Sydney, Australia, united by a common purpose to develop personal relationships with Jesus and build everlasting friendships with each other.  We study the Bible and share the wonderful news of God’s unfailing love.

Whether you’re a Christian or not, we’d love for you to come visit us!

One of our favorite programs is our CARE groups: when we meet at someone’s home to study the Bible, sing songs, and share a meal together.  At the moment we have four groups meeting on Friday nights in Strathfield, Dundas Valley, Marsfield and Denistone East. Come join us; we love to make new friends!

We also have a small group Bible study on Saturday mornings in Eastwood, and we run lots of free, home Bible studies.

We seek to create a warm Christian environment in which to:

  • Study the Word of God, the Bible, to search out what it really says

  • Spread the Good News about the great things God has done for us
  • Find physical, emotional and spiritual rest from the cares of life

What’s in a name?

The name “3am” stands for the Three Angels Message.

Found in Revelation, the last book of the Bible, this special message (the “everlasting gospel“) is addressed to “those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and language and people; (that’s everyone!) just before Jesus comes again and creates a new world.

Within these verses you’ll find three earnest, heart-felt pleas mixed with solemn warning: come back to God the Creator, escape false religion, and cling to true faith. You can read about it in Revelation 14:6-12.

That’s what 3am is all about: living out the truth found in the Bible!
