Lake Mac Summer Camp

Lake Mac

The Crusader "Lake Mac" Outdoor Recreation Centre is located only 60minutes from Hornsby offering guests a spectacular 6 hectare waterfront property in a secluded, yet convenient location. There'll be lots of fun activities to do and will be a great place to spend the summer.
Lake Macquarie is the largest coastal saltwater lake in the southern hemisphere and is four times the size of Sydney Harbour (109 square kms). It's a really beautiful place so don't miss out on this great camp.
Date: Monday 27th - Thursday 30th December, 2010
Where: Lake Mac Outdoor Recreation Centre, Balconyn
Cost: $140 per person for accommodation and food. Some activities cost extra.
Accommodation: There are 10 x 10 people hut cabins with beds. There are hot showers and toilets close by to each cabin. You Can camp too if you like!
Food: All meals provided (Vegetarian) by the recreation centre.

Anyone for Tennis?

Place: Macquarie University Tennis Courts- Cnr Talavera & Culloden Road, Marsfield.
Cost: $3 (if you need to hire a tennis racquet then it would cost an extra $4)

Beach Volleyball at Manly

Place: Manly Beach of North Steyne Road at the volleyball courts

What to bring: Bring casual clothes (we’ll go for some ice-cream), swimmers and a towel. 

Most importantly a hat and sunscreen!

Transport: Unfortunately there are no train stations in Manly but-
You can catch a bus from:
·         Chatswood train station to Manly Beach.
·         St Leonards train station to Manly Beach.
·         Wynyard train station to Manly Beach.

Or you can catch a ferry:
·         Go to Circular Quay train station and catch a ferry directly to Manl

Cumberland State Forest Walk
Join us for a lovely Saturday afternoon walk through the cool Cumberland State Forest. Get some fresh air and exercise
